I have always been interested in New Media and this interest spurred me on to taking a degree in Film and Cultural Media. I specialised in interactive new media and have always been keen to make digital environments fun, intuitive and user friendly.
Here are some examples of my previous website work:

The Brief:
Having worked for ATV Productions for some months, mainly building bestplaces.tv, shooting and editing, I felt that we needed to raise our own digital profile. With this in mind the team and I decided to draw up a plan to update and re-brand the company. With the brain storming session over I set about design a site and digital profile. I wanted it to be very stylish yet functional to show case my skills as a web designer and digital artist. a short while later ATVStudio.co.uk was born.

About:
Sylvie was looking for a simple and elegant website to act as a 'shop window'. She wanted to show case her skills as a portraiture painter and bring more business her way with the addition of a web presence. She was recommended my services by a previous client.
Sylvie works hard to capture both the aesthetic and personality attributes of her subject. This approach ensure that all her portraits clients are happy with the results as the pictures reflect the personal qualities of their subjects for the viewer to grasp hold. The paintings are time less and have personality shining from their eyes.
The Brief:
I was approached by Sylvie to discuss the possibility of a website. Filled with confidence and ambition after our initial meeting we started work together that evening. She dictated colour scheme and overall feel of the site. She wanted it to be simple with a little interactivity. It was important for Sylvie that the site showed viewers both photography and portraits of her subjects people could better understand her process.

bestplaces.tv also produce a high quality magazine, which is circulated throughout the West Country and will go out to most of the main populated areas of the United Kingdom by the end of 2011.

About:
Tim Godwin is a Devon based photographer. His portfolio consists of landscapes, wildlife and nature, people, sports and events primarily in and around the south west. Tim wanted help with the initial concept of his web site, what should and should not be included and the overall aesthetic feel.
The Brief:
I was initially approached by Tim asking for a consultation but after the initial build of the site he wanted to completely rebuild it making updates easier and a smoother user experience with different user specified ways of organising the photographs.
About:
Build it are a designing, construction and landscaping contractor based in the East Midlands. They take projects from start to finish with a close relationship to the clients ensureing that there needs are met. They also make every effort to keep any distruption down to a bare minimum.
The Brief:
I was passed this project by ATV Studio, the client had no experience whatsoever so I wrote up a proposal and explained each aspect of the web site to the client. After getting them up to speed we talked through the fine details of the site. They knew they wanted a corporate feel with a slide show and to have the pages textual content easily editable by non computer literate contributers. The site is a CMS (content management System) and after a short tutorial they felt happy to edit the content themselves whenever they wanted.

Space for Thought….give it time!
Vincentieo's Blog
About:
A Simple Blog where I organise my thoughts and post interesting content. I have an affinity for this media rich age and this is my small contribution to adding some order to the web as seen in my world. Due to the nature of the blog it will constantly be being updated and shifted but I do have a grandiose end design for the site, there is a long way to go. Recent Posts concern my trip to Brazil and participation in a Gothean, holistic and scientific approach to permaculture in forrest surrounding Jundiai.
The Brief:
There is not really a brief but I did set myself the task of learning the wordpress software and getting a good understanding on advanced Content Management Systems (CMS) I believe the web should be easy to use and publish on so I wanted to explore the ways of doing that without relying on typing code.
About:
I started production because I realised that many times I had used other code found on the internet to help me build projects, this is the nature of the internet and is part of this post modernist age of machenical reproduction wer aare living in. If you ask one indivdual to make a mouse or even a pencil from scratch, they would be unable to do so. This is because no one person knows every stage of the manufacturing process, most people would fall at the first hurdel of mining, extracting and refining the graphite from the ground. It is the same with web production and design, sites are bult on various building blocks of code, it is how you alter these blocks arange them that gives a site its indivdual character and form. I will write code from scratch when it is necessary and bespoke them for a specific needs. I want to compile a database of code blocks that I found a long time to find.
The hope is that others will be able to find what they are looking for with ease and to archive the codes and scripts I have refined and collected in an easy to navigate archive that I can add to from any computer. The principles that provide google with its sucess really apply here so I decided to make the site a google hosted site and allow others to contribute.

Phoenix Torbay Motorbike Training
About:

The Brief:
I was approached to make a website to attract new customers, provide an informative overview of the services offered and show the equipment the students would use. It was important that the site took novices page by page through the site explaining the somewhat complex and bureaucratic process of learning to ride in simple terms. My employer insisted the site must not resemble a directory of facts on the subject but instead they asked to make the information accessible through asking the user questions such as their age and what type of test they wanted. The site could then direct them to the relevant page.
Ongoing projets:
I am currently developing various other projects. You can see them in their current stage of progress below, check back again soon to see updates and additions
